University of King’s College
The University of King’s College is a small liberal arts university located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are known for our nationally renowned great books program called the Foundation Year Program (FYP) and our top journalism programs.
King’s has under 1,000 students with an average class size of 30. This allows an intimate learning environment where students are on a first-name basis with their professors and regularly see friends on campus.
King’s is partnered with Dalhousie University. Our two campuses are a two-minute walk from each other, and King’s students can take programs at Dalhousie inside the Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences, Science, and Music. It is the best of both worlds because students are a part of a small university at King’s and one of Canada’s leading research universities at Dalhousie.
