University of King’s College
The University of King’s College is a small liberal arts university located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are known for our nationally renowned great books program called the Foundation Year Program (FYP) and our top journalism programs.
King’s has under 1,000 students with a 15:1 student to faculty ratio, which allows for an intimate learning environment. A fun fact about the school is King’s produces the most Rhodes Scholars per capita out of any Canadian university.
King’s is partnered with Dalhousie University, one of Canada’s top research institutions. Our two campuses are a two-minute walk from each other, and King’s students can take programs at Dalhousie inside the Bachelor of Arts, Science and Music. It is the best of both worlds because King’s students are a part of a small, intimate university and one of Canada’s leading research universities at the same time.
